Project overview
Song Hau Surface Water Treatment Plant is operated by AquaOne Hau Giang Water Joint Stock Company, a member of AquaOne Group. The plant has a capacity of 100,000 m³/day and total investment of approximately VND 1,900 billion. Located on more than 15 hectares in Song Hau Industrial Park, Dong Phu Commune, Chau Thanh District, Hau Giang Province, the plant draws raw water from the Hau River. As a regional water-supply facility, it supplies clean water to Hau Giang, Can Tho, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu and Ca Mau, with particular support for businesses inside and outside Song Hau Industrial Park. In addition to meeting local residential and industrial demand for high-quality clean water, the plant contributes to water security in the Mekong Delta and to improved clean-water standards for communities in the region.
AquaOne Hau Giang Water Joint Stock Company received ISO quality-management certification on 5 June 2017 and a green-building certification on 29 June 2017.
By 2030, AquaOne Hau Giang targets a service capacity of 500,000-600,000 m³/day and aims to become a leading clean-water supplier in the Mekong Delta.
